Acceptable Use Policy
Use PinDrift on your own devices and accounts, and within the law.
Updated September 15, 2026
This policy is part of the Terms of Service.
1. Adults only
PinDrift is for people 18 and older. Nobody under 18 may buy, install or use it, even with a parent's permission, and nobody may buy or install it for them.
2. What it's for
Your own devices and accounts: privacy, choosing what tracking apps report about you, travel, and testing apps you build.
3. What's not allowed
- Stalking, harassing or tracking anyone without their consent.
- Fraud, including insurance, tax, banking, gig and delivery payouts, and employer time clocks.
- Evading a court order, parole or probation, a restraining order, a custody arrangement, immigration rules or sanctions.
- Using devices or accounts you don't own or aren't allowed to use.
- Tampering with PinDrift's license system or overloading our servers.
- Anything else that breaks the law.
4. Business use
Personal plans are for personal use. Paid development, work for an employer or client, or any other business use needs a commercial license, so ask us. Trying PinDrift before you ask, and unpaid open-source hobby projects, are fine.
5. Other apps' rules
Many apps ban location changes and may suspend your account. That risk is yours, and it is never permission to break this policy.
6. If you break it
We can end your license without a refund, refuse future service, and cooperate with law enforcement when the law requires it.
7. Reporting abuse
Email [email protected] with your evidence. Law enforcement must attach valid legal process. We don't end a license on an accusation alone, and we usually let the person respond first.
